The best thing about living in England is exploring the neighbourhoods that are full of charming buildings. The residential areas are filled with row houses made of old brick and colourful accents which display the character and detail of this old English city.
Fall and Winter are the perfect seasons for mixing in a bold colour with black or white looks. Oxblood has always been one of my top colours for F/W. The rich colour creates a powerful look when worn from head to toe, or an accent which I styled for this look.
One of my top accessories for fall/winter/spring is a great beanie. This beanie/toque caught my eye with the fun oversized pompom. The icy temperatures in Canada and cold winds and rain in England make knitted hats an essential in these months. Beanies are also a travel essential for me as they are great to throw on for low maintenance styling.
Colourful jewellery is also a fun way to use an accent colour. The classic chrome hardware and lambskin Balenciaga bracelet creates an interesting statement piece from day to dinner. This bracelet style and colour is a unique change from the neutral colours.
These oxblood tights are an amazing find for winter, as they are fleece lined! Previously, I had only found black, until I came across a great assortment of coloured tights at Primark. If you are in England, pick some up for warm, colourful additions for your Winter wardrobe.
