We had a lovely day at Queen Victoria Square in central Kingston-upon-Hull, UK. It is great to be surrounded by such amazing architecture and history. Unfortunately, this city was severely damaged in the wars, however, many beautiful Victorian elements and Maritime history remain in the areas we shot in.
This casual black and white look is full of basics that are perfect for fall.
The cream and black sweater has great leather detailing on the sides and neckline that makes a basic sweater have a more edgy, stylish look. I paired it with my go to quilted leather jacket and great fitting mid rise black skinny jeans. Leather jackets that are lined and hip length are great for travelling, as they work with several different silhouettes underneath and are warmer.
These Stuart Weitzman ankle boots are one of my fav pairs to wear for fall. They made the cut on this trip as they are comfortable, lightweight and made of easy to clean leather.
I still love to wear my classic black and white silk Alexander McQueen scarf. The silk adds warmth, wind protection, and does not take up much room which is great for travelling. It is a staple scarf for any fashionista and is fitting for my UK trip.
When packing accessories, I like to keep it simple by choosing basic pieces, in similar finishes. The hand bags I brought with me are all black or black with silver hardware, therefore I chose accessories that are silver or black, to easily be worn with all the outfits I brought. These dainty silver stacking and midi rings by Jennea Frischke Jewlery are a great addition to any look.
After a day full of photo shoots and exploring local cafes we are off to the next stop on our adventure... London!
