Merge into Spring

Image
DETAILS  LeatherJacket: Helmut Lang - Top: Theory - Skirt: Helmut Lang - Shoes: United Nude - Rings Oak + Fort - Lip Stick: YSL Rouge Volupte Shine #13 Pink in Paris  The transition into Spring in Canada can be tough with our hormonal weather. (Never knowing when it's going to snow, rain, or be +25 in the same day). Adding a splash of colour and/or print with darker pieces creates a nice transformation for a taste of Spring in your wardrobe. As the weather can still be cool, I like to wear lighter leather jackets, which add a thin layer of warmth/block the wind, but are not  bulky. You can layer them under a wool coat/winter coat, then when the weather changes, you have a lighter jacket to wear as an indoor or outdoor jacket. Try adding spring prints with colours of blues, greens, and oranges to your wardrobe and radiant lip stick shades to brighten your day.

Spring Sunshine in Kansas

DETAILS - Jacket: Helmut Lang  - Top: Saks Fifth Ave Black Label  - Jeans: Rachel Roy  - Shoes: Gucci  - Belt: Gucci  - Wallet: Prada  - Necklace: David Yurman  - Sun Glasses: Ray Ban  - Rings: Jennea Frischke Jewelry   Taking in a sunny spring day in Wichita, Kansas. This casual look is comfortable and great for enjoying the spring weather. When travelling I like to pack clothing items that I can layer and don't wrinkle easily or take up much room in a suitcase. Spring wardrobe staples: lower OZ. denim in fun colours & washes, cotton or silk jackets, colourful prints that can be easily layered for the transition into spring (finally!)
